In May, we had the pleasure of hosting a night for the International Food and Wine Travel Writers Association and, we don't mean to brag, it was was a TOTAL success! Over 45 top writers from all over the world came to Montgomery to experience our food scene and several restaurants, bars and attractions came together to show theses writers the time of their lives!
We were so gracious the Montgomery Convention and Visitors Bureau thought to bring a portion of them to the restaurant for a tailored dining experience. When planning for the travel writers, we wanted ensure the writers would see the hustle and bustle of Central on a Friday night so we decided to serve them at the Chef's Table.
Chef Leo wanted to create a customized experience, open to the public by reservation and would be an opportunity to interact with our guests on a more intimate level. Thus, Leo's Table was born, a table side presentation of the best food you will ever eat presented by Chef Leo himself. No menu, just food, you and your closes friends and Chef Leo! We knew Leo's Table would be a perfect fit for the IFWTWA writers.
We were even more excited when we found out one of our guests at this event was Iron Chef America contestant and host of the SoCal Restaurant Show, Chef Jet Tila! Chef Jet told us he was blown away by our presentation and restaurant! Now that is a compliment you can hear over and over again! Chef Jet followed up by asking Chef Leo to interview live on his radio show! How is that for national exposure?
